Technical Information
The most frequent question asked is what camera do you use. The answer is a Nikon a Nikon D2X and a D100 digital camera. The resolution on the two cameras is 12 megapixel and 6.1 megapixel and gives me resolution comparable to what I consider comparable to a medium format and 35mm camera respectively.
Lenses include: 12-24mm, 17-35mm 2.8/f, 24-85mm, 60mm macro, 70-200mm 2.8/f, 300mm, 80-400mm VR, and 500mm 4.5.
I also use a variety of filters including polarizing filters, and graduated neutral density filters.
The tripod and cable release I consider my most important tool for clear photographs.
I switch between using the raw format and jpeg in fine mode depending on the situation. Raw is better for resolution and control of white balance in the final editing but it takes up so much compact flash space and fills the camera buffer after 4 shots and then it is a waiting game. So I do use jpeg often.
I am using Adobe Photoshop CS to do my photo editing.
